Congratulations to Abbie-Louise Julien, Harry MacSweeny, William May, Joshua Ridely and Emma Salotun who were chosen as winners in the NASUWT’s Arts and Minds competition. Arts and Minds is an annual competition aimed at promoting race equality and diversity in schools. The judges said of the artwork: “The piece shows that lots of students have worked collaboratively to create it. It is so creative, borne out of a simple idea, and is almost like a collage with a great level of detail and depth.”
Many thanks to Mrs Griesen who worked with the children. The school has been awarded £350 which will be used for further art projects. Very, very well done to everyone again!
