A brilliant morning at Crystal Palace saw 108 Warren Road runners take to the park in the Bromley Primary Schools’ Cross-Country Championships. This is the biggest event of its kind in the UK with almost 25oo KS2 children taking part across 54 schools. Everyone did really well to complete the 1700m and 1800m courses with hills, twists and turns and the amazing cavalry charge across the field at the start. Ian Payne, Mayor of Bromley had an excellent morning and presented prizes at the end. An amazing experience for all the children and great memories. Congratulations to all the children and huge thanks to Mrs Keene and all staff and parents supporting the event which we have helped to run this year. More details about the events, results and the Bromley Primary Schools’ Cross-Country Association can be found on their website at www.bpscca.co.uk.
